Swim molds stop water from entering your ears when you swim or bathe. They can help prevent swimmer’s ear or protect water from affecting a perforated eardrum or tube placement. 

Assistive earmolds

Assistive earmolds attach to a hearing aid to ensure the best possible physical fit when in need of significant amplification. Specifically, this is appropriate for those individuals who have severe to profound hearing loss or anatomical differences that are better suited for custom devices. 

Noise protection earmolds

How should I care for my earmolds at home?

It’s important to clean and maintain your earmolds to avoid getting an infection from wearing them no matter their purpose. Proper maintenance can also maintain the integrity and increase the lifespan of your earmolds. To take great care of your earmolds, the Professional Hearing Center team recommends:

• Cleaning & disinfecting them daily
• Sterilizing your earmolds if they touch body fluids like blood
• Storing your earmolds in a closed container when you’re not wearing them
• Washing your earmold container regularly
